The 51st Latvian Folk Applied Arts Fair
The Ethnographic open-air museum of Latvia will host its traditional fair on June 3rd and 4th. This year it will happen for the 51st time. The goods will be offered by more then 530 different craftsmen, food and cosmetics home manufacturers, book publishers and caterers. There will also be a wide culture program.
How to research your family
By launching a new cycle of educational lessons, the Ethnographical open-air museum of Latvia invites everyone interested to a lecture at the Priede wayside pub with the researcher Dr. hist. Mārīte Jakovļeva and historian Mag. hist. Agris Dzenis about farmers's lifes and family research using available written sources.

Exhibition "Crochets in Latvian Ethnoghraphy"
This year On March 7th, the exhibition hall of the Latvian Ethnographic Open Air Museum opens the exhibition “Crochets in Latvian Ethnoghraphy”. The exhibition is composed of materials from the museum stock. The author of the study and exhibition is the head of the Ethnography department at the Latvian Ethnoghraphic open-air museum dr. hist. Aija Jansone.
The annual harvest fair
On the 24th of September from 10.00 to 17.00 we will celebrate the annual autumn harvest fair at the Museum. At the Kurzeme peasant's homestead, Vidzeme peasant's homestead and the Village in Latgale.
