Annual conference 2014

At the annual conference at The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia informs about EEA project intentions

On 4th February in Open-Air Museum was held annual conference, which was attended by different professionals from different, with culture, cultural heritage and cultural processes related specialists from all Latvia. Two conference reports were devoted to the pre-defined project Nr.EEZLV04 / INP / 2013/4 „Ostas noliktavas restaurācija Latvijas Etnogrāfiskajā brīvdabas muzejā” (Restoration of the Harbor Warehouse in The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia) project implementation within the EEA Financial Mechanism Norwegian Financial Mechanism program “Conservation and Revitalization of Cultural and Natural heritage” – project idea presentation and ongoing discussion.

Art historian Inese Kundziņa had a paper on Museums dowry chest collections exhibit in Harbor Warehouse, which will be implemented within projects second activity. For full presentation please click here.

Architectural archaeologist Juris Zviedrāns had a lecture about Harbor Warehouse restoration projects conceptual and practical intentions.
