THE CRAFTS DAY. THE DAY OF GAMES AND PASTIMES03.09.201711:00 — 16:00

Every year in September this event gathers craftsmen from the entire Latvia – blacksmiths, potters, carpenters, wicker-work craftsmen and weavers. Both masters and trainees arrive at the museum to demonstrate their masterpieces, inviting both big ones and small ones to participate and also try out the ancient tools.

At the start of a new school year, the museum holds an ancient play day where it invites children with their parents in fresh air and nature to enjoy playing a variety of both traditional and modern plays and games. Moreover, various contemporary competitions, creative workshops and dexterity outdoor games will take place.
