The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia invites you to Easter celebrating on April 16-17 from 10.00 to 16.00. Easter at the museum represents the intertwining of folklore, modern and Christian traditions. There also takes place the Easter fair, where you can obtain various handmade items and delicious traditional food.

The Easter divine service and concert in the Usma church (Lutheran) on April 16 at 10.00. Various workshops in both days: Easter eggs’ dying and rolling, making of clay whistles, pots painting and other. Swinging in swings. Songs, games and acquaintance with Latvian traditions under the guidance of folklore groups.

Easter celebration in the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia is one of the most popular events organized by the Museum. In previous year it was visited by more than 12 000 people.

The main entrance into the Museum is at Brivdabas street 21. During event will be opened the Western gate.  Free parking in front of the Main gate and the Western gate.

Ticket prices:

Preschool children-free admission, pupils - 0.70 €, students-1.40 €, seniors -2,50 €, adults-2.00 €, family ticket (1–2 adults and 1–4 children under 18) or  1 large family - 4.00 €, groups (at least 10 persons, per person)-1.40 €.

 

In ticket price are included workshops, including eggs, performances of folk groups and swinging.
