Tile cleaning of Harbor warehouse

The museum's specialists started the red clay tile cleaning from dirt, moss and cement wastage, to prepare its application back on the harbor warehouse in the exhibition of the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia.

Currently the harbor warehouse's roof is covered with red clay tiles on the North-East side of roof and South-West with aspen wood shingles. After the restoration of the Harbor warehouse – the entire roof will be covered with red clay roof tiles.
