Shortly before the Summer solstice folklore groups and ethnographic ensembles will present various programs in the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia. Traditionally, every second year, fans of folk music from close and far-away regions of Latvia gather in Riga to show their magnificent national costumes, and to please public with sonorous songs, cheerful games and tricks of musicians. Within two days in the museum yards visitors will be able not only to view performances, but also to take part in different actions, and also get to know something new about Latvian traditional culture.

The organizers of the event are The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia and Latvian National Centre of Culture.
