DigiCult (ERASMUS+)
Project title: European Union Programme "Erasmus+" project "DigiCult Digital Presentation and Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage" ("DigiCult")
About: At the end of 2019 The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia together with educational institutions (the Latvian College of Culture) and cultural partners from Bulgaria, Italy and Greece, became involved in the ERASMUS + program project "DigiCult", Nr. 2019-1-BG01-KA202-062231 implementation. The project will exchange knowledge and specific skills on the process of digitization of intangible cultural heritage, learning from the experience and good practices of foreign partners, and improving the skills in the process of digitizing cultural products of museum staff and other professionals.
The project theme addresses recent trends in the digitization of intangible cultural heritage (and its use in the study process, thus contributing to the quality of curriculum content and the competitiveness of higher education institutions).
Project results:
- Training course "Digitization presentation and preservation of intangible cultural heritage";
- DigiCult VLE - a modern educational environment where the students / VET trainees will be able to follow flexible learning paths while improving their key and transversal competences in line with current digitization trends;
- Guide and recommendations for digitization, presentation and preservation implementation system in intangible cultural heritage;
- Key Stakeholders Contact Database - the contact information for the identified project's stakeholders in all countries involved.
